Topic: Men to live as examples.

"The greatest want of the world is the want of men - men who will not be bought or sold, men who in their inmost souls are true and honest, men who do not fear to call sin by it's right name, men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole, men who will stand for the right lest the heavens fall."  Ellen G. Nowadays, men are called more so to be like men in the likeness of Christ. Men are to be examples in the home. As the Apostle Paul says "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved the church, and gave himself for it" (Ephesians 5:25). The word "Husbands" represent men that are the head of the home. Married men need to be led by example in the home so his family can see Christ in character.

 

Even single men need to live by example in Christ. In times where single men are tempted to get involved in ungodly relationships, the need of having Christ in the life is very essential.

 

"Follow on, young men, to know the Lord, and you will know that His going forth is prepared as the morning. Seek constantly to improve. Strive earnestly for identity with the Redeemer. Live by faith in Christ. Do the work He did. Live for the saving of the souls for whom He laid down His life. Try in every way to help those with whom you come in contact....Talk with your Elder Brother, who will complete your education, line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, and there a little. A close connection with Him who offered Himself as a sacrifice to save a perishing world, will make you acceptable workers."  Ellen G White, Testimonies vol. 6, p. 416
